Seen in the Movie and Series 1 - 6

Both Blackwall's Pump and Pump Ladder were Shelvoke & Drewrys during the movie and series 1 and 2. The London Fire Brigade often lent LWT Shelvoke & Drewry pumps for larger shouts. The last time the Shelvoke & Drewry pumps were seen was a debriefing in series 6.

Seen in Series 3 to Series 9

LWT bought five of these appliances in total. Two of them were purchased from the South Yorkshire Fire Brigade (not the Hampshire Fire Brigade) in Series 3. They were refitted to look like London Fire Brigade appliances and used as Blackwall's Pump and Pump Ladder until the end of Series 5. After Series 5 they were only seen at large shouts and were last seen in Series 13.

In Series 6 LWT bought another two identical pumps from the South Yorkshire Fire Brigade, which were embroidered with the traditional striping to look like LFB appliances. To fit it into the series they replaced it with a temporary Dodge appliance which was crashed before it was returned. They were used as Blackwall's main pump/pump ladder until the final episode of Series 9, when they were replaced by Volvo appliances. Henceforth they were only seen at large shouts. In Series 7 LWT tried to modernise the pumps by replacing the two tones with electronic sirens and also replacing the rotating beacons with strobe beacons. The same was done to the old Blackwall pump appliances used from Series 3 to Series 5.

In Series 7 LWT bought another identical pump from the South Yorkshire Fire Brigade to blow up in an episode. This was not actually Blackwall's main pump, the registration plate was just taken off the main pump and put onto this dummy appliance. In later episodes Blackwall continued to use the same pump just with a different registration plate to give the impression that it was a new one.

Seen in Series 10 to Series 13

For series 10, it was decided to give London's Burning a more modern look, and thus the old London lookalike pumps were replaced by new appliances exactly the same as those used in the capital. The Volvo/Saxon combination can be seen at most London fire stations. The pump was later seen with Shadbrook in series 13.
