Biography[]
In London's Burning: the Movie musclebound Kenny 'Rambo' Baines was often seen working out in Blackwall's gym, which earned him his nickname. He had a wife, Carol, who was seen at the gathering of the firemen's wives. When firewoman Josie Ingham arrived at Blackwall Rambo, along with the rest of Blue Watch, reacted with territorial hostility. In particular he worried about sleeping naked while Josie was in the dormitory. Tate told him not to worry, as "she looks as though she could do with a laugh." When London's Burning returned as a series in 1988 Baines was no longer a part of the watch and his absence was never explained, addressed or even mentioned (his actor was unavailable for filming). It is believed by many fans that George Green was his replacement.
