Episode Summary Edit

George still feels guilty about Jaffa's accident, and S.O. Suffolk tries to cheer him up. Sicknote comes in wearing a cap, and reveals to Charisma that his hair lotion has caused an ugly rash on his scalp. Nick and Pearce attend a coroner's inquiry about Donald's death at the blaze. Pearce has to admit that he was rude to the boy and feels guilty, but the coroner rules that it was death by misadventure: an accident. Pearce is truly humbled when Donald's mother tells him how fond he was of the Brigade and gives him a drawing he had made of Blackwall.

Blue Watch are called to a flat where a man has got his hand stuck behind a radiator. His flat is full of exotic pets, including snakes and spiders, so a nervous Bayleaf (who suffers from arachnophobia) flees to the pump. He is summoned back to help when Billy apparently passes out, but when he opens the medicine bag he finds a huge spider, and everyone is in hysterics when he leaps back in terror.

Sally goes out with her brother, who tells her that their father is ill and wants to see her. Billy finally gets the old uniforms back and while the rest of the watch trains in first aid with dummies, he discreetly returns them and tells Nick. Nick is frustrated about Ariadne's disappearance and quarrels with Hallam to vent his anger. Blue Watch are called to a car accident, a driver has been run through by a pole and Charisma helps comfort him. Upon their return, Nick learns that there has been a call from Cyprus.
